Touchdown Tavern: Nice Sports Bar in Mobile

Bourbon Street Bar

The Touchdown Tavern has several big screen TVs tuned to various sporting events, along with pool tables, darts, and a small dance floor. Both the workers and the customers were friendly.

Dress Code: Casual is the norm.

This is a place to come and just relax and play pool. The staff is very friendly and helpful. My friends and I love to go and chill. If you like to play pool this is the place to be. While you play pool you also listen to music which makes it even more enjoyable.

If you are the type of parson that likes English beer, not that lager stuff, then this Bar is the closest thing that you are going to get. They brew thier own beer and do a stout, of sorts. Well worth a try, especially as it is on the main drag. Also take a look at grafiti's nightspot, is supplys some entertainment. Across the road from this place there is a typically sleazy American diner, the food os good at 2am and the waitresses are fun...!

THE SOUND BAR NIGHT CLUB CHICAGO REVIEW

HATED IT!! Worst experience ever. Ladies please read! If you dont want to be assulted by their own staff!! I went to this bar with my girlfriend for the first time Saturday August 24, 2013 because we were invited there. Not only were the men creepers and disrespectful, their own security team was worst! One member from the security staff, "Sam" (about 6'4), approached my girlfriend and I while dancing and grabbed our wrists very hard and pulled them upwards for no reason at all!

Our first defense was to pull away and he grabbed us again while smirking and giggling after we asked him to let us go. Mind you we did not know he was part of the security team at this point. He then walked away grinning like it was a joke, never identifying himself. We saw his earpiece and realized he was part of the security staff. After telling management and head of security, they put us in a hall to wait for 30-45min.

Then the club manager (who did not want to give us his name or identify himself) thought that by giving us our money back we were going to be satisfied, all mean while protecting his security staff member who thinks its ok to assault and grab women who come to this establishment. Mind you we did not leave until 6am after talking to Police and filing a report against him and the club.

The manager of the club tried to lie to Police and say they were clearing the club initially thats why security grabbed us (which the club had not closed at this time), then they lied and tried to say he was was asking us about earings. Really!!! At least if your going to lie, come up with something better. Will never be back here again!!! Places like this should be closed down!
.

you dont need to get table cause they are so racist service is bullshit. When i was there some server guy took my friends jacket and when i leave that place i wanted to get our jacket back they said we are closing now come back next week.

Thats bull shit it was cold outside. That day was my friend birthday they said free drink for birthday guy when i make reservation. But it works just 2 hours all bullshit place. Service bullshit doesn't respect customer.

This club is a joke. This club is racist. If you are a little dark, they will scrutinize you, you would need to be fully dressed to impress while everyone else can come in with just a tee shirt. Even clubs in Miami or vegas hate on you as much as this spot.

This place was quite terrible even though they boast some exclusive type vibe. They let women in by the hoards, and drive away any guys that aren't either with a girl or in a descent sized group. Also, they didn't allow my friend in for dressing improperly and when I was close to getting in they claimed my ID was fake, because "I've seen a real MT driver's license before" they told me, and when I called the police to get it back because they TOOK it from me, the manager was just like "oh my man had never seen an actual MT license before". DON'T waste your time, no other clubs nearby, and WAY better clubs to spend your time at.

THE VAULT NIGHTCLUB LOS ANGELES REVIEW

Haven't gone clubbing in a while because I was tired of the expensive prices and bad attitudes of the staff, but recently checked out the vault and completely changed my perception! Really different looking club with actually a nice staff to run it. I was celebrating my best friends bday and we ordered a few bottles and they gave us a complimentary bottle because it was his bday, it was a part of their bday bottle service special! parking was easy and drinks were awesome, I will def visit this place again :)

While i was down in LA i was staying in downtown and checked out this club w a few friends! it was really fun, parking was easy, drinks and music was good and upbeat. Fairly priced drinks and they had really cool looking tables and dance floor. It was super packed so the next time i go i will go, recommended, but def go earlier to beat the line! :)

Cool club to party at w friends and special occasions. I like dhow their drinks were not sky rocketed prices and everyone was friendly and having a good time. I rented out the vault room for my friends bachelor party and it fit more than 20 of us which was cool because its like a room within a room in the club!

Its a great place to celebrate your birthday or a some sort of special occasion! They have the vault room which can hold up to 30 people in it! the bottle service hosts are super friendly and polite. They get everyone hyped and involved! Music is really good and diverse, good vibe and great crowd :)

I mainly enjoyed this place due to it having a diverse and mixed crowd! I got there around 11 so the line was pretty packed so i guess its a good idea to go a little bit earlier to beat the line. Drinks were made pretty good and not highly priced, i had a pretty good time with my friends!

Really fun club! I hosted a company party here in the their vault lounge! it was really cool, spacious, decorative, etc. Good place to go with your friends and celebrate, def recommend checking out !

I went on a friday night and it was a pretty mixed crowd. my friends friend knew someone and we got in for free at around 1130. I thought the venue was pretty, and i really liked the dj and the music. i also liked the flashy lights and the fake fog =P...not really a fan of getting hit by ice chips when the fog machine came on and landed on everyone. i guess they think we like that? i cant really remember what else, i just know i had fun and i would definately come back here again. =)

This review is for their Saturday nights only. I love the fact that this club is huge and has a really nice dance floor. I also like the variety in music(hip hop, electro, salsa, reggaeton, bachata, & Spanish rock). The main stage plays mostly latin music and has a live salsa orchestra. The bartenders are nice, the dress code is somewhat strict, the line starts to get pretty packed by 10;30ish so definitely head up there a little bit earlier than that!

MARQUEE NIGHT CLUB NEW YORK CITY REVIEW

As a place that has passed its peak years, Marquee now just hosts a lot of events here. The venue is pretty expansive, and the DJs that spin here are actually not bad. If you want to be in the middle of the action, utilize your connections to grab a table in the middle of the main floor. Otherwise, venture upstairs for a cozier and more private party area. If you're ordering drinks from the bartender, expect the mid to high double digit nightclub drink prices. Personally, I never really stopped by unless I had a connection here.

Pretty neat club if you want to dance. I've been here many times on Tuesdays, Thursdays and the weekends, and it's pretty similar - weekends are way more packed but even on a weeknight you won't feel alone

. If you have guys in your group and are not doing bottle service, get here before midnight. Lines start to form around 11-11:30 on weekends and the later you get there, the longer you wait outside.
Face control is not a myth. If you are getting a table, try to get one downstairs around the dance floor. Downstairs music is more pop/dance, upstairs is hip-hop/rap. Overall, good time if you want to dance.

Where should I start?.............. I decided to go there to celebrate my birthday. I called 2 days prior and made a guestlist for 15 people, the girl who answered the phone was really nice and she told me just to be there before midnight.
Well I got there around 11 with 7 people and there was NO ONE online and the guy at the door told me I had to wait to get in.. then he strolls over and asks me if I want to buy a bottle, and I said no.. not everyone is here yet so if we decide that it will be inside. 20 minutes later I got in.

Then they tried charging me $20 at the door even though the girl on the phone told me a guestlist will get me in for $10. After finally getting in... the other half of my party arrived and they would not let them inside.

I attempted to go outside to try and tell the jerk at the door that it was my birthday but he told me my guestlist was MAXED OUT. Maxed out? It was 11:30... there was barely anyone inside and my guestlist was for 15 people.

WELLL.... the JERK at the door... told my boyfriend and the rest of the people that if he slipped the bouncers $200 they would let them in.. plus the cover charge... after fighting with the JERK at the door - I told my boyfriend to leave because it wasn't worth the money... I go back inside to find my friends laughing because Marquee - this "HIGH END - UPSCALE LOUNGE" was playing Miley Cyrus music....

Just to my surprise shortly after they were playing Justin Beiber or whatever his name is.... So if you are looking to deal with bouncers who think they are god and "great" kiddie music - this place is for you!
I wound up leaving and going to M2 I told them it was my birthday and what a horrible experience I had at Marquee and they let me right in... and we all had A BLAST!!!

amazing live drummer every friday to quote: Is Marquee worth all the drama at the door to get in?

The chi-chi West Chelsea hotspot from the folks behind the promotion of the formerly trendy Suite 16 is the kind of place where, if the too-cool-for-school doorman deems you unworthy of entrance (straight men without women, beware), a couple of beefy security guards will forcibly evict you from the velvet rope line.

Even if you pass muster, you’re going to have to wait on that damn line anyway; only the beautiful and the well-connected get a free pass here. Inside, the two-story space is thoughtfully designed and laid out, centered on a modest dance floor ringed by banquettes and punctuated by a dramatic chandelier that changes color with the disco lights.

It’s all very slick (one of the two other rooms has sexy red rippled walls), with bottle service and plainclothes models boogying to hip techno remixes, but it’s also strangely generic.
